These are old photos that i took in 2004, when i went there to visit it again (the last time was ages ago with school), but that time, it was with my sister who just finished her study abroad (i think she was kinda missing this museum too and appriciated the purpose of this cultural visit on a sunny saturday noon).
This is the biggest museum in indonesia yet so small (to be confirmed), which guardes the Indonesian heritages from the old days. Unfortunately, not so many indonesians visit this museum, as if we dont care of our own treasure. Pitty.
But there is still hope. This museum was renovated again last year, they added another wing to the museum, giving it a salle of exhibition (when i went there, there was an exhibition of French - Indonesian Archaeology Expedition in Borneo, about the study about cave man, which they did in Borneo, which was sooo amazing!).
Btw, the elephant statue situated in front of this building simbolizes a friendship between our country and Thailand.
